Ordering Window & Key Dates
  • Order window: August 1 - August 31, 2026 (closes 11:59 PM ET on Aug 31)
  • Delivery: orders arrive at the studio approximately 6 weeks after the window closes
  • Pickup: you’ll be notified when your order is ready for pickup at AIM
  • Sizing: sizes are NOT based on age, so check the sizing chart before ordering. When in doubt, size up.

Dress Code: Find Your Dancer’s Color

One color. One leotard. Every class. Color goes by your dancer’s age on August 1 and stays the same all season, even after a birthday and even in mixed-age classes.

  • 18 months - 3 yrs: Yellow
  • 3 - 4 yrs: Lilac
  • 4 - 6 yrs: Bright Pink
  • 6 - 8 yrs: Icy Turquoise
  • 8 - 11 yrs: Lime
  • 11 - 18 yrs: Black

Dancers exactly 4, 6, 8, or 11 on Aug 1 wear the older color (a 4-year-old wears Bright Pink; a 6-year-old wears Icy Turquoise).

Acro, Stretch & Strength, and Company Teams
  • Stretch & Strength + Acro/Tumbling: wear your age color if you’re enrolled in other classes.
  • Only enrolled in Acro? Wear all black.
  • Company Teams: all black.
